Kimberly Stickley has worked in nursing for over 30 years. She graduated with her ASN in 1991 and her BSN in 2007 and worked as an RN for 23 years, going on to then achieve her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, in 2015. She is a board-certified APRN holding certifications in both Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health. She has been a nurse educator since 2017. She teaches Therapeutic Communication and Mental Health Nursing, Pathophysiology, and Clinical Practicums, and Co-teaches Pharmacology in the undergraduate BSN program at UAMS.
She has a passion to promote mental health and share the knowledge of personal transformation and the hope of self-actualization. She is a certified KORU mindfulness instructor and enjoys sharing this practice with all. She is married and has 3 adult children and 2 grands. She enjoys fishing, learning, and spending time with others. She has a strong spiritual practice and enjoys growing in this area as well.
